Vinča archaeological site to receive Danube riverbank upgrades

Development works are set to begin at the Vinča – Belo brdo archaeological site to enhance the right bank of the Danube. The project, valued at over 422 million dinars excluding VAT, includes the construction of a riverbank fortification, walking and communal paths, terraces, and an irrigation system.

This initiative is part of a broader development plan for the Belo brdo Archaeological Park. The project also includes the phased construction of a Research Center and a Community Center for Vinča. The Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure has issued the necessary solutions for the works, and the Republic Institute for the Protection of Cultural Monuments has provided the required location conditions.
