VinaCapital group reduces stake in Kido Group
The VinaCapital investor group has reduced its total ownership in Kido Group (KDC) to 5.42%. This follows a transaction on October 22, 2026, in which Liva Holdings Limited, a member fund of VinaCapital registered in the British Virgin Islands, sold 1.9 million KDC shares.
As a result of this sale, Liva Holdings' individual stake dropped from 5.16% to 4.47%, meaning it is no longer classified as a major shareholder on its own. However, when combined with Vina QSR Limited, which holds 0.95%, the total group ownership remains above 5%. This marks the second foreign investor to drop below the 5% threshold this year, following Star Pacifica Pte. Ltd. in August 2026.
Separately, Kido Group has been restructuring its holdings. As of September 18, 2026, Kido reduced its stake in Nuti KD (formerly Kido Frozen Food) to 14.7% through two rounds of share transfers, meaning the entity is no longer considered an associate company.
