Vinamilk expands milk carton recycling program
Vinamilk is expanding its “Vỏ xinh được tái sinh” (Beautiful Shells Reborn) program, which focuses on collecting and recycling used milk cartons. Following a pilot in 2024, the initiative saw significant community engagement in 2025, collecting over 3.6 million cartons and contributing to the creation of more than 100,000 green products.
In 2026, the program is being expanded to 110 Vinamilk stores across Hanoi, Quang Ninh, Da Nang, and Ho Chi Minh City. In the first three months of this expansion, nearly 11 tons of milk cartons have already been collected.
Le Hoang Minh, Vinamilk’s Production Executive Director and Net Zero Project Lead, noted that consumers are transitioning from being the end of the value chain to becoming vital links in a sustainable development ecosystem.
