Vinamilk receives second Labor Hero award on 50‑year anniversary
On 23 July in Hanoi, Vinamilk marked its 50th anniversary with a state ceremony that honoured the company with the Labor Hero title for the second time. The event was attended by President Tô Lâm, former and current top officials, and Vice‑President Võ Thị Ánh Xuân, who presented the award.
Vinamilk, now valued at about US$2.6 billion, is the only Vietnamese dairy firm among the world’s 36 highest‑revenue dairy companies. It operates 16 factories and 15 internationally certified farms, exports to roughly 60 markets, contributes over VND 71 trillion in taxes, and employs thousands of workers and farming families.
The ceremony highlighted the firm’s role in advancing national nutrition, supporting the economy, and enhancing Vietnam’s brand abroad.
