VinaPhone pushes remaining 3 million users to finish subscriber verification by June 15

VinaPhone reports that 18 million mobile subscribers have completed the mandatory verification of their registration details, but roughly three million still need to comply before the regulatory deadline of 15 June 2026. Under the new rules, subscribers who fail to verify by that date will first have outgoing calls and texts blocked, followed by a two‑way service lock after 60 days, and eventual number reclamation if verification is not completed within five days of the final lock.

The operator warns that service interruption could affect everyday activities such as receiving banking OTPs, e‑wallet transactions, online government services and business communications. To avoid disruption, VinaPhone has expanded its support network to more than 1,000 service points and about 4,000 mobile verification stations nationwide, especially in remote and underserved areas, and offers online verification through the My VNPT app. Viettel, another major carrier, has already assisted over 90 % of its at‑risk customers and is focusing on the remaining five million users, many of whom are elderly or live in hard‑to‑reach villages.
