Vinaròs commemorates 785th anniversary of Carta Pobla

The city of Vinaròs commemorated the 785th anniversary of the granting of its Carta Pobla on September 29. The event served to honor the city's origins, history, and long-standing traditions.

Commemorative activities included a performance by the folk group Les Camaraes at the Plaza Parroquial, followed by a Te Deum service at the Iglesia Arciprestal led by the Coral García Julbe. The celebration concluded with the traditional distribution of an anniversary cake prepared by the Associació de Pastissers de Vinaròs.

Mayor María Dolores Miralles noted that the anniversary provides an opportunity to reflect on the community's progress and transformation from its earliest settlement to its current state as a city.
