Vinaròs launches 368,000 euro tender for rural road improvements
The Vinaròs City Council has launched a public tender for the improvement of two rural roads, Camino Fondo and Camino Carretes, with a total starting budget of 368,000 euros.
The project aims to enhance safety and road conditions for residents accessing farms and homes. The investment is divided into two parts: 163,000 euros for 1,255 meters of asphalt on Camino Fondo, and 205,000 euros for 1,425 meters on Camino Carretes. The works will involve repairing the road layout, filling potholes, and applying a new layer of asphalt.
Interested companies have until September 9 to submit bids through the Public Contracting Platform. Once awarded, the execution period for the works is expected to last three weeks. Vice-mayor Juan Amat stated that these actions aim to address a long-standing lack of investment in the municipal rural road network.
