VinBus to discontinue mobile application by late October

VinBus has announced the discontinuation of its dedicated mobile application. Starting October 20, 2026, services including route lookup, stop information, and bus tracking will gradually migrate to the Green SM application.

The shutdown will follow a phased rollout. On October 20, the VinBus app will cease operations in Quang Ninh, Phu Quoc, Nha Trang, and Ho Chi Minh City. By October 30, 2026, the application will be fully discontinued in Hanoi and all other service areas.

To continue accessing bus services, passengers are instructed to use the Green SM app and select the VinBus section to track routes and vehicle locations. This transition follows recent adjustments to several bus routes and stop locations in Hanoi.
