Vince Guaraldi and Bola Sete’s ‘From All Sides’ Reissued as Original Jazz Classics LP

Craft Recordings has reissued the 1965 jazz collaboration From All Sides by pianist Vince Guaraldi and Brazilian guitarist Bola Sete as part of its revived Original Jazz Classics series. The new vinyl edition was cut by mastering engineer Kevin Gray, who adjusted the lacquer to reduce brightness and enhance the LP’s soundstage, offering a warmer piano tone and fuller guitar presence compared with earlier CD releases.

In Germany, a series of jazz‑focused radio programmes aired in early August 2026, featuring a tribute to Miles Davis on the occasion of his centennial birthday, a Motown‑themed show highlighting 1983 maxi‑singles, and a discussion of Richard Gauch’s new book on refugee and courtroom narratives. The broadcasts, produced by stations in Freiburg and Leipzig, provided listeners with new album recommendations and cultural commentary.
