Vince McMahon charges dismissed following Connecticut car crash

Charges against former WWE Chairman Vince McMahon have been dismissed following the completion of a one-year pretrial probationary program. The legal matter stems from a July 2025 multi-vehicle accident on the Merritt Parkway in Westport, Connecticut.

McMahon was facing reckless driving charges after his 2024 Bentley Continental GT Speed collided with a BMW and struck a wooden guardrail, causing debris to reach a third vehicle. State police reported that McMahon was traveling at speeds exceeding 100 mph at the time of the crash.

As part of his probationary conditions, McMahon was required to make a $1,000 donation to charity and maintain a valid driver's license and insurance. Having met these requirements without further incident, the case has been officially closed.
