Vince McMahon's potential WWE return unlikely, says Eric Bischoff
Eric Bischoff has expressed skepticism regarding a significant return for Vince McMahon to WWE or the public spotlight. Speaking on his ‘83 Weeks’ podcast, Bischoff suggested that while McMahon might make minor, occasional appearances—such as at a Hall of Fame event—he is unlikely to return to regular programming or participate in active storylines.
Bischoff argued that the personal baggage surrounding McMahon outweighs any potential benefit to the company. He also characterized the possibility of McMahon returning to the TKO Group Holdings board as even more remote, questioning what added value he would bring to the leadership team.
McMahon resigned as TKO executive chairman in January 2024 following a lawsuit from former employee Janel Grant alleging sexual assault and sex trafficking, allegations which McMahon has denied. The legal dispute was recently moved into private arbitration, and McMahon previously reached a settlement with the SEC regarding undisclosed payments.
