Vince Russo condemns Triple H's WWE creative and modern wrestlers' focus on star ratings

Former WWE writer Vince Russo criticised Triple H's stewardship of WWE creative, calling it "the worst creative in the history of the WWE" and saying it pales even to the era of Stephanie McMahon. Russo explained that Triple H, now in charge since Vince McMahon stepped down, has driven a product that he views as overly politicised and poorly received.

Russo also argued that today's wrestlers prioritize earning five‑star match ratings over generating revenue. He contrasted the current niche focus with the Attitude Era, saying the former era was "for everybody" while today "all about the fake wrestling match" and star ratings, citing Kevin Nash as an exemplar of a previous money‑first mindset.
