Vince Russo departs Juggalo Championship Wrestling

Vince Russo has announced his departure from Juggalo Championship Wrestling (JCW) after serving for one year as an investor and the creative showrunner for the weekly program Lunacy. Russo stated on social media that the split was amicable, noting that he had been unhappy for a while and that personal changes at age 65 influenced his decision to move on.

To address the departure within the promotion's narrative, JCW utilized an on-screen storyline during the September 24 episode of Lunacy. The program announced that Russo had sold his 50 percent ownership stake in the company to co-founder Violent J, providing a professional explanation for his exit from the television program.

JCW is marking this transition with its 100th episode of Lunacy, titled ‘Carnival of Chaos,’ scheduled for Thursday, September 24. The milestone episode features a loaded card, including matches for the JCW World Championship, the JCW Women’s World Championship, and the JCW World Tag Team Championship.
