Vincent Aboubakar joins Bodrum FK

Bodrum FK, a club competing in the Trendyol 1. Lig, has officially announced the signing of Cameroonian striker Vincent Aboubakar. The 34-year-old forward has agreed to a 1+1 year contract, which includes an option for an additional season.

Aboubakar brings significant experience to the Turkish second tier, having previously played for Beşiktaş and Hatayspor. During his tenure with Beşiktaş, he secured two Süper Lig titles, two Turkish Cups, and one Turkish Super Cup.

Beyond his club career in Turkey, Aboubakar has a distinguished international profile. He has captained the Cameroon national team and was the top scorer at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations. His previous clubs include FC Porto, Al-Nassr FC, and FC Lorient.
