Vincent Büchner signs with THW Kiel to replace Magnus Landin

Vincent Büchner, a 28‑year‑old German left wing, transferred from ThSV Eisenach to German record‑champion THW Kiel, taking over the left‑wing position vacated by Danish national‑team player Magnus Landin.

Büchner said he will write his own story at the club. In his first training match against Stralsunder HV he suffered an adductor injury, expected to keep him out for up to six weeks. Nineteen‑year‑old Ben Szilagyi will cover the position initially, holding a dual playing permit for THW Kiel and TSV Altenholz. Büchner travelled to the pre‑season camp for rehabilitation and moved to Kiel with his wife and dog at the end of June.
