Cultural events and exhibitions scheduled across the Netherlands

Various cultural and community events are scheduled across the Netherlands. In Papendrecht, the Open Cultuurdag on August 29 offers free access to theater, music, and workshops at Theater De Willem and other local venues.

In Heerlen, SCHUNCK and Cultura Nova are hosting a dual exhibition titled ‘Without any Doubt’, showcasing the work of late painter and set designer André Joosten at the SCHUNCK Glaspaleis and PLT Theater.

Other notable activities include a music festival at It Damshûs in Nij Beets on September 25, a jazz concert by Vincent Houdijk and TRIFID at Museum Kruithuis on September 6, and a brocante market at the Grote Kerk in Dordrecht on November 7.

Community-focused events include a Repair Café in Heusden on August 27, an open studio and garden exhibition in Tjerkwerd, and a special opening of the Fire Museum in Voorschoten on August 29.
