Vincent van der Voort explains Kevin Doets' podcast refusal

Dutch darts legend Vincent van der Voort has revealed why professional player Kevin Doets is unlikely to appear as a guest on the podcast ‘Darts Draait Door’.

During a discussion with host Damian Vlottes regarding potential future guests, it was noted that Doets, who has been performing strongly this season, is currently unwilling to participate. Van der Voort explained that Doets is reportedly ‘a bit angry’ with him due to previous comments made by the former professional regarding Doets’ girlfriend.

Van der Voort admitted to having made critical remarks about Doets' partner during a meeting that caused significant commotion at the time. While Van der Voort stated that he stands by his words and did not intend them personally, he expressed understanding for Doets’ decision to defend his partner. As a result, a podcast episode featuring Doets remains unlikely for the time being.
