VinCons expands permanent construction workforce to 130,000

VinCons, a construction entity within the Vingroup ecosystem, has rapidly expanded its permanent workforce to over 130,000 employees, including 120,000 workers. The company aims to reach a milestone of 200,000 permanent workers to solidify its position as a major general contractor in Vietnam.

CEO Nguyễn Hồng Phong revealed that more than 95% of the workforce consists of new recruits, primarily sourced from rural and mountainous areas. Rather than hiring experienced laborers from competitors or the existing market, VinCons focuses on a strategy of internal training. This approach involves teaching basic knowledge, technical guidance, and on-site practical training under the supervision of experienced staff to ensure professional standards and labor discipline.

The massive recruitment drive supports several large-scale projects across Vietnam, including the Hanoi International Sports Urban Area (9,171 ha), Vinhomes Global Gate Ha Long (6,200 ha), Vinhomes Green Paradise Can Gio (2,870 ha), and the Cam Ranh Bay urban area (1,254 ha).
