VinFast and Vietnam Register host automotive testing training

The Vietnam Register has partnered with VinFast to host a specialized training program aimed at enhancing automotive testing capabilities. The program involves experts and managers from technical units and automotive safety testing centers within Vietnam and across Asia.

VinFast provided the necessary technical infrastructure and facilities for the training. The curriculum includes practical and theoretical instruction on crash safety testing according to UN R94 (frontal impact) and UN R95 (side impact) standards. Additionally, the Japan Automobile Standards International (JASIC) provided training on UN R100 (high voltage safety) and UN R154 (WLTP energy consumption evaluation), issuing certifications to participants upon completion.

This initiative is designed to equip professionals with the skills required to implement United Nations technical regulations and advanced testing processes. The training is particularly relevant as the automotive industry in Vietnam and the broader Asian region transitions toward green energy and electric vehicles.
