VinFast offers vouchers to gasoline‑car owners and ships thousands of EVs to Europe

VinFast announced a loyalty program for customers who bought its gasoline‑powered cars, granting vouchers worth 30‑80 million VND for a new electric vehicle. The incentive applies to owners of the Fadil, Lux A2.0 and Lux SA2.0 models, with vouchers tied to the vehicle's VIN and usable by the owner’s family or a business. The program runs from 2 July 2024 to 31 December 2026.

At the same time, VinFast is moving a shipment of roughly one thousand green‑painted electric cars from Hai Phong port to Europe. After a brief stop at the Chinese port of Thái Thương, the vehicles were transferred to the vessel Grande Melbourne, which will call at Southampton (UK) on 29 July before reaching Antwerp (Belgium) at the end of July. The export supports the launch of VinFast’s electric‑taxi service in European markets such as the Netherlands and Belgium. The company also filed a design patent for a new electric scooter in India, indicating further overseas product expansion.
