VinFast slashes prices on cars and e‑bikes in July 2026

From early July 2026 VinFast updated its price lists for the entire electric vehicle range sold in Vietnam. Car models across the VF series saw retail price cuts ranging from several tens of millions to up to 170 million VND, with the VF 9 dropping 151‑170 million VND and the new‑generation VF 8 reduced by 100 million VND to 899 million VND. The company also revised prices for 12 electric motorbike models, lowering listed prices by 2‑5 million VND per model; the cheapest bike, the Amio/Amio S, now costs 11.6 million VND, while the Viper tops the range at 40.6 million VND. In addition, a deep‑discount clearance sale put the Minio Green at 179 million VND, far below its previous 269 million VND price, with free charging vouchers attached. VinFast combined these reductions with existing incentives, such as up to 6 % discounts for licensed‑driver models and 16 % for license‑exempt bikes, plus tax‑free registration for electric cars through 2030. The moves aim to preserve VinFast’s market leadership, as the firm holds roughly 56 % of Vietnam’s electric motorbike market and reported 406,453 units sold in 2025. New promotional offers in July further cut the VF 5 Plus, Limo Green and VF MPV 7 by up to 35 million VND, reinforcing VinFast’s aggressive pricing strategy across its growing electric‑vehicle portfolio.
