Vingroup launches 660‑ha Wonder Mangrove fishing park in Ha Long Xanh, Vietnam

Vingroup, led by founder Pham Nhat Vuong, is developing Wonder Mangrove, a 660‑hectare mangrove forest fishing park within the Ha Long Xanh mega‑city in Quang Ninh province. The project is part of a broader urban development worth about $18 billion and will span the Tuần Châu and Hà An wards.

Wonder Mangrove is designed as an eco‑tourism destination that preserves the natural mangrove ecosystem while offering a fishing‑park experience. The park’s vegetation is projected to absorb carbon four times more than typical land forests, contributing to regional climate regulation. It will also host diverse wildlife, including waterbirds, fish, and migratory species, enhancing biodiversity in the urban area.
