Vingroup leaders see wealth surge as VIC stock hits record highs

The wealth of Vingroup leaders has reached record levels following a significant surge in Vingroup (VIC) stock prices. According to Forbes real-time data, Pham Nhat Vuong, Chairman of Vingroup, has seen his net worth rise to $39.3 billion, placing him 54th on the global billionaires list and maintaining his position as the wealthiest individual in Southeast Asia.

His wife, Pham Thu Huong, who serves as Vice Chairwoman of Vingroup, is now the wealthiest woman in Vietnam with an estimated net worth of $4.3 billion. Her wealth is driven by her holdings of over 341 million VIC shares and more than 148 million shares in LPBank.

Vingroup's market capitalization has hit historic milestones, becoming the first listed company in Vietnam to exceed 2 quadrillion VND. The company's mid-year reviewed financial reports show a post-review profit after tax of 20,905 billion VND. For the full year 2026, Vingroup aims to achieve a net revenue of 485,000 billion VND and a profit after tax of 35,000 billion VND.
