Vinh Long police detain man for 900 million VND fraud

Vinh Long Provincial Police have detained Le Van Ut Em, born in 1982, to investigate allegations of property misappropriation through fraud.

According to initial investigation results, Em reportedly attempted to invest 1.5 billion VND through an application called ‘AMAZOL’ found on social media, but was subsequently unable to withdraw the funds. To cover further investment costs, Em allegedly borrowed 900 million VND from an acquaintance, L. T. M. X, under the false pretext of settling bank debts. The case is currently under investigation by the Vinh Long Provincial Police.
