Vinhomes to raise 3,000 billion VND through new bond issuances

Vinhomes (HOSE: VHM) has announced a resolution to issue two private placements of corporate bonds with a maximum total par value of 3,000 billion VND. The bonds will be non-convertible, without warrants, and secured by assets owned by Vinhomes or third parties. The first lot has a maximum value of 1,000 billion VND, while the second lot is capped at 2,000 billion VND, both with a par value of 100 million VND per bond. The maximum maturity for each issuance is 24 months from the date of sale.

The company intends to use the proceeds to fund its investment projects. This move follows a significant period of bond activity for Vinhomes; data from the Hanoi Stock Exchange indicates the company issued 15 bond lots totaling 44,000 billion VND in 2026, with interest rates ranging between 12% and 12.5% per annum.

Financially, Vinhomes reported strong growth in the second quarter of 2026, with net revenue from sales and services reaching 52,722 billion VND, nearly 2.9 times higher than the same period last year. This growth was primarily driven by real estate transfers, which generated 39,548 billion VND. Profit after tax for the quarter reached 26,467 billion VND, a 3.2-fold increase year-on-year.
