Vini d’Abbazia event launches at Fossanova Abbey

The fifth edition of Vini d’Abbazia has commenced at the ancient Fossanova Abbey. Promoted by the Lazio Region, Arsial, the Frosinone Latina Chamber of Commerce, and Azienda Speciale Informare, the event serves as a significant national reference point for enotourism.

The program focuses on the intersection of wine, territory, spirituality, and cultural research. A central seminar, ‘Il valore dell’autoctono: tra qualità e territorio’, addressed the strategic role of indigenous grape varieties in defining regional identity and driving tourism development.

Key contributors included Enrico Chiavacci of Marchesi Antinori, who discussed communication strategies for Italian wine, and Violante Cinelli Colombini, president of the Movimento Turismo del Vino, who emphasized the importance of creating authentic experiences for visitors.
