Vinica March Honors 63 Victims of Pulse Nightclub Fire in Kocani

On Saturday afternoon, residents of Vinica gathered at Angel Vinichki Square for the "March of the Angels" to commemorate the 63 people killed and more than 200 injured in the Pulse nightclub fire in Kocani. The march, organized by the citizens' association "16 March 2025," began with a gathering at 16:45 and the procession started at 17:05.

Organizers called the event a demand for real justice, stating that conditional sentencing does not honor the 63 lost lives or the hundreds of families affected. They warned that such a tragedy must never be repeated and urged authorities to ensure accountability.

The protest highlighted that over 500 survivors continue to live with physical injuries and trauma, emphasizing the human cost beyond the reported fatalities.
