Vinicio Capossela announces new album ‘Milk Wood Bar’

Musician Vinicio Capossela has announced his new album, titled ‘Milk Wood Bar’, which is scheduled for release on January 22, 2027, through BMG. The release marks the beginning of a new recording and publishing partnership between the artist and the music company.

Listeners will have the opportunity to hear new songs during ‘E morte non avrà dominio’, Capossela’s first ‘Ballad Opera’. The production, inspired by the poetic universe of Dylan Thomas and his poem ‘Under Milk Wood’, will debut on October 3 and 4 at the Teatro Olimpico in Rome as part of the Romaeuropa Festival. Following the Rome debut, the show will tour Italian theaters until December 21.

The performance features Capossela alongside Pierpaolo Capovilla, blending music, spoken word, and theater. The album will be available in three physical formats: a three-panel CD with a booklet, a standard double black vinyl, and a limited edition numbered Collector’s Edition featuring double white vinyl.
