Vinicio Mucedola premieres solo monologue in Rome
Actor Vinicio Mucedola recently premiered his first solo monologue, titled ‘Essere o Malessere’, in Rome. The performance is described as a surreal and humanistic tragicomedy that explores the lives of the millennial generation.
The show addresses various themes relevant to modern thirty-somethings, including digital culture, hypochondria, family dynamics from the 1990s, and the complexities of modern ambitions and therapy. Mucedola, who is associated with the comedy school ‘la factory’ founded by Gabriele Cirilli, uses the stage to reflect on the contradictions of being part of a highly digital and creative generation.
The premiere included an appearance by Roman comedian Ninetto Davoli, who participated in the event.
