Vinícius Júnior faces viral conspiracy theories and performance scrutiny

Social media conspiracy theories have surfaced claiming that Brazilian footballer Vinícius Júnior has been replaced by a body double. These unfounded rumors, circulating on platforms like TikTok and X, suggest the player was killed or abducted, citing perceived changes in his facial features, tattoos, and physical appearance as evidence.

These claims coincide with a period of inconsistent on-field performance for the Real Madrid attacker. During recent matches for both his club and the Brazil national team, including a game against India, Vinícius has struggled to maintain his usual form, leading to criticism from fans and media.

Despite the viral rumors and recent dip in statistics, Real Madrid and his coaching staff have expressed continued confidence in the player. The club views his current form as a temporary lack of physical conditioning rather than a cause for concern regarding his status in the squad.
