Vinitaly and the City debuts in Reggio Calabria

The first edition of 'Vinitaly and the City' was held in Reggio Calabria, showcasing the region's enogastronomic excellence through wine tastings, masterclasses, and cultural events. Organized by the Calabria Region and Veronafiere, the event took place at the Lungomare Falcomatà and the National Archaeological Museum.

During the event, Labor Minister Marina Calderone highlighted positive employment trends in Calabria, noting that the region is showing improved results for youth and women. Calabria's President Roberto Occhiuto emphasized the importance of supporting local businesses and young winemakers who are modernizing traditions through improved packaging and market expansion.

The festival included musical performances by artists such as Maria Antonietta, Colombre, and Serena Brancale. Mayor Francesco Cannizzaro expressed interest in hosting future editions to further integrate Reggio Calabria into international event circuits.
