Vinkovci installs new LED lighting in Park Lenije

The city of Vinkovci has completed a new public lighting project in Park Lenije. As a separate infrastructure initiative following a broader renovation of the park, 58 new LED park lamps were installed along a 1,068-meter route, including the construction of necessary electrical energy infrastructure.

The project aims to improve safety and functionality for recreation and walking during evening hours while reducing energy consumption and maintenance costs. The total cost for the lighting project was 115,548 euros, with 40,600 euros provided by the Ministry of Physical Planning, Construction and State Assets.

Park Lenije, a four-hectare site designated as a monument of park architecture, recently underwent a larger green infrastructure renovation valued at 1,052,612 euros. That previous phase included the addition of 1,013 new plants, such as 355 trees and 658 shrubs, along with new paths, benches, and urban equipment.
