Vinkovci launches tenth annual cycle of citizen forums

The city of Vinkovci has launched its tenth annual cycle of “Together for a Better Tomorrow” citizen forums. These meetings are held within local municipal boards to facilitate direct communication between residents and city officials.

The current cycle began with meetings in the Stjepan Radić, Ban Jelačić, and Centar districts. Discussions focused on local infrastructure and quality of life, including street maintenance, sidewalks, parking, drainage issues, traffic safety, and new investment planning.

Mayor Josip Romić stated that while previous forums have led to significant projects that have improved the city, much work remains. He emphasized that responsible urban management requires careful planning, setting priorities, and the rational allocation of resources to address the needs identified by citizens.
