Vinkovci maternity hospital reports summer baby boom

The maternity ward at the General County Hospital Vinkovci has experienced a significant increase in births over the summer months. Following 43 births in July, the facility recorded 67 births in August, a trend that has continued into early September.

Dr. Krunoslav Šporčić, director of the hospital, expressed satisfaction with the high volume of births, noting the importance of each new life to the community. Data from the summer period indicates a slightly higher number of male births compared to female births.
