Vinkovci to open new cinema by year-end

Vinkovci Mayor Josip Romić has announced that the city will host a new cinema by the end of this year. The facility will be located within the premises of the Joza Ivakić City Theatre.

During recent community meetings in the Lenije, Dvanaest redarstvenika, and Lapovci neighborhoods, Romić also detailed several urban development projects. These include the renovation of the city's largest park, the construction of new outdoor pools, a new kindergarten, and the expansion of a local school.

Additionally, the city is planning the construction of 78 apartments under the Program of Socially Stimulated Housing (POS) to assist young families with housing needs. Ongoing infrastructure improvements include the development of bicycle and pedestrian paths, street renovations, and enhancements to traffic safety and public spaces.
