Vinnie Jones discusses reunion with director Guy Ritchie

Actor Vinnie Jones has revealed details regarding a long-standing rift with director Guy Ritchie that was caused by alcohol consumption. Speaking on The Louis Theroux Podcast, Jones explained that the two drifted apart after he turned down a role in Ritchie’s 2008 film ‘RocknRolla’ while intoxicated.

Jones, who is now sober, described the reconciliation as an “olive branch” extended by Ritchie, who cast him as gamekeeper Geoff Seacombe in the Netflix series ‘The Gentlemen’. The pair shared an emotional reunion on the set of the production during the filming of an opening funeral scene.
