VinOpera Festival to celebrate Valentina Nafornița at Castel Mimi

The 9th edition of the VinOpera International Classical Music Festival is scheduled to take place on September 4, 2026, at Castel Mimi. This anniversary edition honors soprano Valentina Nafornița, celebrating her 15-year career.

The musical program features international performers, including Ukrainian baritone Iurii Samoilov, tenor Dumitru Mîțu, and mezzo-soprano Lilia Istratii. The repertoire includes works by Mozart, Cilea, Lehár, Kálmán, Puccini, Dvořák, Enescu, Offenbach, and Zequinha de Abreu, with highlights such as ‘Don Giovanni’ and ‘Romanian Rhapsody No. 1’.

In addition to the concert, the event will host a ‘Vernisajul Vinului Micilor Producători’ showcasing local wineries and an ‘Opera Buffet’ for guests. A special Porsche model designed for Moldova will also be on display.
