VinSpeed signs $1 billion railway contract with Siemens Mobility

VinSpeed, a member of the Vingroup ecosystem, has signed a railway contract valued at over $1 billion USD with the German technology corporation Siemens Mobility. This agreement marks a strategic development for Vietnam's modern transportation infrastructure.

Under the contract, Siemens Mobility will supply 10 Velaro Novo train sets for two specific railway lines: the 121km Hanoi-Quang Ninh route, which includes four stations, and the 54km Ben Thanh-Can Gio route, which includes two stations. The deal also encompasses the provision of information and power supply systems.
