Vintage car events scheduled in Esslingen and Marburg

Germany is hosting several vintage automotive events. In Esslingen-Zell, the 9th Oldtimer Meeting will take place at the old Neckar on September 13, 2026. The event features cars and motorcycles with an initial registration dating back more than 30 years. The gathering includes an ecumenical service and an oldtimer café, with free admission for visitors.

In Marburg, the 5th AvD-Röhrl-Klassik will bring 176 historic Porsche vehicles to the Marburg Police Vintage Car Museum on September 4. The event features rally world champion Walter Röhrl, who will drive a 1981 Porsche 911 RSR 3.0 alongside co-driver Christian Geistdörfer. The exhibition also includes original police Porsches and appearances by actor Hinnerk Schönemann.
