Vintage collectibles see rising auction prices

Specialized auctions for vintage household and brewery memorabilia are seeing significant interest from collectors. In a recent auction of historical coffee grinders, a rare French electric model sold for 150 euros (approximately 3,754 CZK). Other notable sales included a large Peugeot Frères C4 model for 420 euros and an Enterprise Philadelphia No. 3 cast iron grinder for 200 euros. Experts note that value is determined by the specific model, rarity, condition, and completeness of original parts rather than just age or material.

Similarly, vintage beer coasters are fetching high prices. A coaster from the Planá brewery recently sold for 5,202 CZK following a competitive auction with ten bidders. Other items, such as a coaster from the Stod brewery (Staab) from the First Republic era, have been listed for around 5,000 CZK. Collectors emphasize that the specific print, origin, and preservation state are critical factors in determining market value.
