Vintage electronics and retro consoles gain collector value

Collectors are increasingly seeking out vintage electronics, including older mobile phones and retro gaming consoles, which can command significant prices if kept in good condition.

Certain Nokia mobile phone models from the 1980s, 1990s, and early 2000s have become highly desirable. The Nokia 8800 can fetch up to 800 euros in its original packaging, while the “lipstick phone” Nokia 7280 can exceed 500 euros. Even the iconic Nokia 3310 can reach approximately 120 euros in perfect condition.

In the realm of gaming, pristine vintage hardware is equally valuable. A 35-year-old Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) Super Set, appearing in brand-new, unopened condition, was recently featured on the show ‘Bares für Rares’. Experts noted that finding such items in their original packaging is extremely rare.
