Vintage tableware trends resurge with artisanal and retro designs

A vintage and artisanal aesthetic is driving a resurgence in tableware trends, with consumers seeking pieces that evoke nostalgia and traditional craftsmanship. In Spain, this trend is visible across both large retail chains and local markets.

Ikea has introduced a collection featuring botanical motifs and irregular, hand-painted finishes that mimic traditional Andalusian ceramics. Similarly, Zara Home has released the Gardenia stoneware collection, inspired by vintage Pyrex floral designs. El Corte Inglés is also participating in the trend with its Bianca collection, which features classic blue floral patterns on white earthenware.

This movement toward retro styles—including floral prints and inherited pieces—allows for a mix of old and new elements on contemporary dining tables, blending warmth and personality with modern functionality.
