Vinted to update terms of service in October 2026

Vinted is updating its terms of service, with changes set to take effect in October 2026. In Poland, the new regulations will apply starting October 8, 2026, while most other European markets, including France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and the Netherlands, will see changes on October 5, 2026.

Key updates include a rebranding of the ‘Buyer Protection’ fee to the ‘Vinted fee,’ intended to cover service operating costs. While the name is changing, the platform maintains its refund policies for undelivered, damaged, or misrepresented items. Additionally, the platform is refining its procedures for handling suspected counterfeit goods and expanding its proprietary Vinted Pay system.
