VinUni aims for global top 300 university ranking by 2030
VinUni, a private non-profit university owned by Vingroup, has been assigned a strategic mission by the Vietnamese government to achieve global academic recognition. Under Decision No. 1612/QĐ-TTg signed by Deputy Prime Minister Lê Tiến Châu, the university aims to enter the top 100 universities in Asia and the top 300 globally according to QS rankings by 2030.
To support this goal, VinUni intends to place its Artificial Intelligence and Data Science programs within the world's top 100 and its Business Administration program within the top 200. Vingroup has increased its total investment in the institution to 15.8 trillion VND after committing an additional 9.3 trillion VND in 2025. The university operates with an elite model, featuring 16 undergraduate, master's, and doctoral programs across four specialized institutes.
