Vinyl fairs in Brazil attract collectors in Goiânia and Belém

On August 1, 2026, the second edition of Vinillândia took place at the Centro Cultural Martim Cererê in Goiânia, offering free admission in exchange for a 1 kg non‑perishable food donation. The three‑hour event featured dozens of vendors selling new and used LPs, pop‑culture merchandise, food trucks and live DJ sets on vinyl.

The same day, a Vinil Fair was held at the Sede Campestre da Assembleia Paraense in Belém, running from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Attendees could browse a range of rare and classic records, purchase turn‑table accessories and watch a special set by DJ Fábio Miranda, who played exclusively from vinyl. Invitations were sold for R$150 each.

Both fairs reflect the global resurgence of vinyl, with U.S. sales reaching 46.8 million units and $1 billion in revenue in 2025, the first time revenue surpassed that level since 1983.
