Viohalco posts 14% revenue rise and 62% profit jump in H1 2026

Greek industrial group Viohalco reported a 14% increase in first‑half 2026 revenue to €4.3 billion, driven by higher sales volumes and rising metal prices. Adjusted EBITDA rose 18% to €446 million and pre‑tax profit surged 62% to €370 million, while net profit reached €285.8 million. The leverage ratio improved to 1.9× and net borrowing remained stable at €1.505 billion. Capital expenditures rose 24% to €237 million as the company continued investments, including the expansion of its steel‑tube operations through the acquisition of the Hartlepool plant in the United Kingdom. The cables division posted a record order backlog of €3.4 billion, and the aluminium and copper segments saw double‑digit revenue growth. CEO Ippokratis Stasinopoulos highlighted the diversified portfolio’s resilience amid macro‑economic uncertainty.
