Violence and workplace concerns reported in Sweden

A 24-year-old football coach, Saba Abraham, was shot and killed during a football match in Älvsjö, Sweden. Two teenage suspects have been arrested in connection with the killing. Abraham worked for the Hägersten-Älvsjö district administration, where colleagues described her as a deeply engaged individual who sought to make a difference for young people.

Separately, leadership at the state-owned company Samhall has responded to concerns regarding employee treatment. Following reports of potential misconduct, the organization has initiated investigations involving HR functions and management. The company plans to convene safety representatives and union officials in Ronneby to address issues regarding workplace adaptations, treatment of staff, and the handling of complaints.
