Violence incidents reported in Minas Gerais and Paraná

Two separate incidents of violence were reported in Brazil. In Cambuquira, Minas Gerais, a 28-year-old woman was arrested after allegedly stabbing a 41-year-old housekeeper three times in the chest, abdomen, and leg. The attack reportedly occurred during a dispute over cleaning access and was motivated by jealousy. The victim was treated for serious injuries but has since been discharged from the hospital.

In Jandaia do Sul, Paraná, a 44-year-old woman sustained burns after being pushed against a gas stove by her 29-year-old partner during an argument. The suspect also allegedly threatened the victim and her stepdaughter with a knife before fleeing the scene. Local police responded to reports of a disturbance and confirmed the domestic violence incident, but the suspect remains at large.
