Violence reported in Argentine football youth and club matches

Two separate incidents of violence have been reported within Argentine football. In Córdoba, the Liga Cordobesa de Fútbol issued a statement repudiating violence during a Quinta Division match between General Paz Juniors and Unión Florida. The incident, involving youth players, resulted in the hospitalization of two 16-year-old footballers. The league's disciplinary tribunal will review reports to determine appropriate sanctions.

In Quilmes, the Quilmes Atlético Club's Department of Gender and Diversity condemned brutal aggressions against women at the club's facilities. The victims included Amateur Sports Secretary Vanina Andreetta and a minor following a match on October 24. The club's representatives demanded that the board of directors guarantee safe spaces for female fans and called for an end to the normalization of violence against women within the institution.
