Violent assaults reported in Tucumán and Paraná

Two separate violent incidents involving physical assaults have been reported in Argentina.

In San Miguel de Tucumán, a woman attacked another passenger on a Line 7 bus using a large pipe wrench. The assailant reportedly struck the victim in the head while shouting a message regarding the victim's sister. The bus driver and passengers prevented the attacker from fleeing by closing the vehicle doors until police arrived. The victim required medical attention for a cranial wound, and the assailant was apprehended.

In Paraná, a violent altercation occurred at the Cine Las Tipas within the Paso del Paraná Shopping mall. The conflict began following a dispute over seating and noise levels in a movie theater. The situation escalated into a physical fight involving hair pulling and punches, leading to the evacuation of the cinema hall. A 51-year-old woman and her 27-year-old daughter were detained by police following the incident.
